Farm History

Honey Pot Hill Orchards, is a 200-acre family owned and operated farm since 1923.  Originally a dairy farm when Clifford Martin purchased the farm and transformed the fields by planting apple, pear, and peach trees.  Selling the fruits both wholesale and retail in the Apple Shop, Clifford's son, Richard, continued the farm into the second generation.  Richard Martin was one of the first in the country to offer pick-your-own apples to the public, considered to be one of the best for family fun and pick-your-own today.

Now 100% retail with our Apple Shop, pick-your-own fruits, and family fun entertainment, all here for you and your family to come enjoy.  Two of Richard and Paula's children and grandchildren are now operating the farm with them, Andrew and Chelcie.  You will find Andrew managing the 100 acres of production and Chelcie managing the store.

We invite you to come visit our orchards, pick-your-own apples and enjoy the beautiful countryside.  Visit the Apple Shop and view the hundreds of old farm tools hanging from the walls.  We look forward to making your visit to our orchard enjoyable and full of great memories.  The Apple Shop is open daily 9am-6pm from mid/late July through Christmas.  Pick-your-own blueberries mid/late July through early September, daily from 9am-6pm and pick-your-own apples late August through late October, daily from 10am-5pm.
